Drop Down lists

Does anyone know if and how I can create a drop down menu who's contents are based on the selection of another drop down menu.

For example the first drop down menu is a list of US states and the second is a list of cities that is based on the state selected.

If you want dropdown lists in a cell, you can use dependent data
validation lists. There are instructions here:
