Is it possible to create drop down items that contain more than one line?

EG a name and address

Thanks

I like that!!! I worked great - Thanks for the hint.

Can that technique work in a form? The Auto Text enteries are "grayed" when
the form is locked.

Thank you,

Harvey

No, you can use these fields in a protected form, but if you insert section
breaks, you can leave portions of the document unprotected.

How do you leave part of a document unprotected? I know EXCEL allows you to
do that but I thought in Word it was the whole document or nothing??

Thanks

Harvey

In Tools > Protect Document, click Forms. If there are at least two sections
in the document, the Sections button will be enabled. Click that, and in the
next dialog uncheck any sections you don't want protected.

Help! I'm running Word 2003, and when I click on
Tools>Protect Document it doesn't give me an option to
click Forms. My choices are "Formatting
Restrictions" "Editing Restrictions" and "Start
Enforcement." I have a document with three sections. I
would like the first and last section to be protected with
form fields, I would like the middle section to remain
unprotected (unless there is a way to insert screen shots
into form fields. Is there?). Even tho the section breaks
say "end of protected section" it does not allow me to
treat each section separately.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Check the box for Editing Restrictions, and you'll then see that the menu
includes "Filling in forms."
