drop boxes do not appear in preview

hi,

i am creating an online form. currently available at
http://www.throbertson.com/cgi-bin/form.html

the form is created in frontpage and includes a number of drop boxes (e.g.
in answer to the question Please identify the number of applications you
made to each of the following:) The problem is that thes dropboxes fail to
appear either in frontpage preview or online when published.

Positionig is set to 'none' and 'none' boxes are named and have a number of
answer options.

any help welcome!

Your form is displaying just fine in IE6 under Windows XP

Thomas, I get them streaking down the page overlapped..like a memory issue kinda thing.

Rob,

Just looked again, no problem here. If you are seeing overlapping, then it would be an issue with
your Video Card driver.

I would have structure the page using tables, which maybe a solution.

I've seen this thing happen on my machine before, usually when lots of Javascript...it's a memory thing on my machine 'cause if I shut some stuff down it's ok. That form does load slowly here as well.

New video card with 128 mem on it, so it's not that.

Table would help the layout of that form yep..

Is there a limit fields in FP's forms? I've never used a form quite this big!

The space bar is not a design tool
Your form will fall apart at different user screen resolutions / browser window sizes / text sizes

Redo the layout using a table and cell to align your fields

Your drop down boxes work fine for me - Windows XP Pro (SP2) & IE 6 (Win XP
version)
 
thanks for tips. will redesign with table - a bit of a rush job i'm afraid.
issue resolved by restarting IE.
