Driving me crazy ...ctrl alt del task manager disapears

Using Microsoft xp. WHen I push the ctrl atl del keys
simultaneously to see what tasks are running the window
appears for a second but then disappears before I can
take any actions. I notice a small green window appears
in the task bar on the bottom right but then disappears
in 5-10 seconds. ANy ideas on how to resolve. Driving me
crazy

w32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com then:

Download then Merge the edit on line 251 then delete all the files mentioned
in the above link.
