drives mixed up after mb swapout

After mb replacement primary and slave hard drives got swapped. Not sure how
that happened. All periphials stayed insitu, only mb replaced. System boot
no data is lost but old user id's are not recognized. Any one know how to ge
back to "pre-swapped" condition

Did you do a repair install after swapping MoBo?
Did you install the drivers for the new MoBo?

Thanks for responding ... In reply (with your nic on mb) I want to
note that the replacement MoBo is the original. All the same sound
video, and other cards. But that may not make any difference. I
thought that reverting to the old BIOS settings would do the trick

So, to answer your question, no I have not done either of your
suggestions. After the problem surfaced I got paranoid and hav
not done anything yet.

Anything further?
