From the sound card manufacturer (or the speaker manufacturer - although I
cannot remember see specific drivers for speakers) web site.

Due respect to Matt, but he is mistaken, you do not
install drivers for your speakers. Your computer never
knows if speakers are connected, it does not care.
If you have a mainstream computer oem go to the website
(a.e. www.compaq.com) and use the model number from the
tag on your machine to download an all-in-one driver for
that model.
Your other option is to go to the card oem, commonly
www.creative.com for any Sound Blaster audio hardware.

Get into Device Manager and see if there is any yellow
marks in the list under "Sound,Video and Game Controllers"
If the sound card is built into the MB? Then you should
have a MB CD with all the drivers on it. Any
update/patches for your sound card from MS would be on
that CD. You would find them through "Explore" CD. Open
any audio files and look for "XPup" and install.
If the sound card is a plug in? Then go to the Mfg.
Website and find the driver download for your card. And
install. A reboot will probly be needed.
