Drivers are not good

I have a MATSUSHITA UJ-831D DVD+-RW DL slim drive in my ASUS M6R laptop, and
the Microsoft drivers for the drive are not working properly, I can Watch snd
Play CDs + DVDs but not burn, anything, with any app. Its not the media, i
know that.

I have the specific driver for my drive but the setup says its for Windows 95!

There must be a way around this!

What does the laptop mftr.'s tech support say?

When you purchased your laptop, it may have come with CD's for drivers
and preinstalled software. If it did not, go to Asus' website for your
specific model laptop and download drivers and other software such as
DVD burning/playing software that would have come preinstalled. If
after installing the correct drivers and software from Asus' website,
you still cannot burn CD's or DVD's, call Asus' tech support for your
hardware issue.

Lol, Driver Agent site down, and its impossible to get the drivers (i looked)
I HAVE the drivers! But they are for Win95, whats the IMAPI CD Burning COM?
