I cant find a driver for my hardware i dont even know what it is when i go
into my device manager it has a question mark on this thing called the pci
device it says the driver wasnt installed how do i find out what it is

Probably best to go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System
Tools>System Info Look under Hardware Resources and
Components>Problem Devices.

How to troubleshoot unknown devices that are listed in Device Manager in
Windows XP

You could also download/run Everest Home Edition(Free):
http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads9.html

http://basconotw.mvps.org/dwnlds.htm

Create a new folder named Everest and extract the contents of the
download to
that folder.
Open the folder and double-click everest.exe to run the application.

If you are not sure what next step to take, other than
downloading/installing from the manufacturers support site per their
instructions.
Click the + next to Computer.
Click Summary.
Right click in the right pane and in the popup menu click “Copy Allâ€.
Start a response in this thread.
Right click in the text window and in the popup menu click “Pasteâ€.
Send the response.
