Hello and good day.

I have a data cable with USB-Infrared connection that I am using for
transferring data from my cell phone to PC and PC to cell phone. I have been
using this for almost a year with Windows 2000.

I decided to install Windows XP SP2 and can not continue to use the data
cable as Windows is saying that the driver has no XP digital signature. Will
there be any issues or problems that its cause if I continue to install the
driver?

Please help
Thanks

Choose the option to 'Continue anyway'.. the lack of digital signature just
means that Microsoft have not tested it yet.. that is not to say that it
will not work ok..

Thanks for the explanation. Maybe Im just too afraid of experimenting on this
thats why I did not chose that option because it says XP may not function
properly afterwards.

Reason is that the Windows 2K crashed because I installed Yahoo Messenger
V6. Windows was requiring to download some updates for to make YM run, so I
did and after several reboots...blue screen. And the error says I need to
check/uninstall the recently installed software/hardware. YM and the Windows
update were the only new items in my PC.

Again, thanks and I will try the option and hope nothing bad will happen.
