Alg?

Hello, I have a problem with my graphic card ati 9600, don't know how
to solve it, well, yes I know, but I don't know if it's possible. The
problem is related to the drivers, if I want to play to one game I
must install the latest drivers, but...the computers crashes often
while not working on 3d enviroment. On the other side, if I want to
work but don't want to play I must install the original drivers, but
then I can't play. Ok?

What I must do, according to if I want to play or work must install
different drivers.

Play: new drivers.
Work: old drivers.

As you may think this is annoying...my question is:

Is there some chance to use different drivers for the same device
according to a different user login? I could do it before on MS-DOS,
for the people used to this since time ago, but don't know if I can do
it in Windows XP. Thank's for the answer.

i don;t think you can install different drivers for different profiles

however you could do a 2nd installation and dual boot

You could reduce the video acceleration. That generally reduces the
chances of crashes from bugs in drivers. You might be able to strike
a balance between reliability and performance.

And also, contact the maker of the card. These bugs only get fixed if
they are known about.

You can choose to disable selected drivers by setting up separate hardware
profiles. Go Control Panel->System->Hardware->Hardware Profiles

Don't need to disable it, just use newer driver version insteade of
the old when I want to play, and use the old ones if I want to work.
