driver problem

My machine frequently reboots, for no apparent reason. Then receive an error
message after it starts up, saying that it is a driver issue. I updated all
my major drivers, and it hasn't fixed it. What would be the first place to
start looking at to troubleshoot this. I haven't installed any new hardware.
I did put SP2 on not too long ago. Any help would be appreciated.

First, I would make sure my video card drivers are completely up to
date. I would uninstall the old video card drivers, go download the
latest ones, then install them. There are two other hardware related
reasons I can think of for that. First, check the heat inside your
computer. It is quite possible that it is just overheating and reboots
as a failsafe. You can try a program like Everest Home from
www.lavalys.com to watch the temperature. Second, you may have a faulty
power supply. Also, you can use Everest Home to watch the voltages
coming from your power supply.

So I'm trying to open my cd drive and it's making a clicking noise and won't
open??What might it be?
