Driver preferences

I have drivers that contain inf files that I need to
modify to be compatable with an in house standard image.
The problem is that when I modify them, they lose their
signature and then they lose preference to singed drivers
even if the modified driver is newer. Is there a way to
make it so that signed drivers have the same preference as
unsigned or to create a custome signature for a modified
driver?

Only if you contact the manufacturer of that device and they agree to sign the
driver package with your mods for you.
