Hi,

You cannot integrate drivers into OS without the OS detecting the hardware
first. You will have to use Ghost to create a image of your laptop after all
the drivers have been installed manually. and then reuse the image file in
case you need to reinstall the OS.

1. What is the best way to intergrate Drivers into windows XP Professional
SP2

2. What is the best freeware program to use for this process.

I am sick of installing Windows XP and then installing the drivers required
to run a Toshiba Laptop.

Also, How can I create a recovery CD in case my installation becomes corupt.

Using the Add New Hardware wizard or the Setup program that came with the
drivers.

The installer that came with the drivers.

Then you should make a clean install, get it patched and put your software
on it the way you like it, do a full defrag, then use dd(1)¹ on a Linux
live CD or Norton Ghost² to save an image of your install to another hard
drive before you start using your new install.

Windows installations typically contain more data than is available on a CD.
