I'm running a program in a DOS window which transmits a hex file through the com1 port to a barcode scanner. I get a 16bit ms DOS subsystem error that the Driver does not support the selected buad rate (9600, 19200, 38400). Control Panel/System/Hardware drivers shows the com1 port with these baud rates. One of 2 "identical" new PC's completed the transfer with no problem! What's wrong???
