There are two computers in my office that recieve the
error message written below. It occurs when the computer
is first booted and it comes up in a dos window while
trying to connect to the mapped network drives.

"There are open files and/or incomplete directory searches
pending on the connection. Is it ok to continue
disconnecting and force them closed? Y/N"

Although it isnt a major problem, it is becoming very
annoying. Can someone please tell me how to deal with
this issue? Thanks in advance for your time.

Can you post the lines in the script that are causing the problem.

If I had to guess, they are probably trying to delete a drive letter
mapping before restoring it, but in their net use statement, they are
probably not using the '/persistent:no' switch so that it doesn't
automatically get remapped by the system (as opposed to the logon
script) during login.

I am having the same problem. How would you correct this so it does not occur? Thanks for your help.
