Hello,
I've just formated my hard drive and reinstalled windows xp home edition. It
partitioned my hard drive into 2 drives which I really didn't want to do. My
c: drive is now about 8 megabites and my D: drive is about 115 megs. I just
want to have 1 c: drive with 1 partition on my hard drive. How do I go about
doing that? Thanks

Mike reinstall XP Home and make sure it only formats your complete hard
drive before installation. I know in Pro I can set it up to format x amount
for C: so I hope you can do the same with the Home version.

You have two choices:

1. Do the reformat and reinstall over again and create the partition(s) the
way you want them.

2. Use a third-party program like Partition Magic or Boot-It Next Generation
to merge the two partitions into one.
