Drive E is not showing

Periodically, I try to access Drive E and it tells me
that there is no drive E. Normally I reboot and WHAM,
there it is, where it is supposed to be. This happens
about every month or so.

This morning, I tried to access Drive E via the shortcut,
AND by looking in My computer, and it is not recognizing
it. No matter how many times I have rebooted, it is not
finding it.

What can I do? I am not that good at troubleshooting. I
am a frustrated teacher who is trying to access grades
for my class before I go to school.

Can anyone help me out?

Is it a Western Digital drive?

Had this solve similar issues for others. Make sure you have a Western
Digital drive listed there before you do anything though!

What is drive "E" suppose to be? ie CD-ROM, USB pen
drive, another hard drive, another partion, external
drive.
