I recently bought a Compaq Presario with Windows XP Service Pack 2
pre-installed. I installed Dreamweaver 4, but I can't change views, either by
hitting CTRL+TAB or by selecting VIEW and then CODE or CODE PLUS DESIGN. How
can I fix this?

You might want to direct your question to macromedia support for help
with their program.

Thanks, Rock.

Macromedia Support doesn't work on Friday and Saturday. I plan to call them
during the week. I posted the question onf their site, but my experience with
Macromedia in the past has been awful. In 2002, when I called them to ask a
question about Dreamweaver, they just laughed when I said I had a 399Mhz
processor. My computer was only 18 months old at the time. They have never
replied to any inquiry I have posted on their site.

Ok good luck.

Update: I figured out a fix to this problem. In Dreamweaver 4, click Edit and
then choose the "Edit with" option. I entered the .exe file for CuteHTML Pro
5.0. You can do this for any alternative HTML editor on your computer.

Open Dreamweaver 4 --> Edit --> Edit with chtmlpro.exe

Note: You'll have to browse to the execuable file for CuteHTML Pro 5.0 or an
alternative HTML program on your computer.

By the way, to my surprise, someone from Macromedia called me early this
morning. They said Macromedia no longer supports Dreamwaever 4.0 and referred
me to http://www.macromedia.com/forums.
