At work, I was recently upgraded to Word 2002. With the prior version, I was able to use the line draw feature to add lines within my text to point out things and break up data. Now in Word 2002 when I try to draw a line I'm getting the dreadful "Create your drawing here" box. I don't want to create a drawing I just want to add a simple line. I know I can add a horizonal line but I want to place a line precisely at particular place, like I used to. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Tools | Options | General: clear the check box about the drawing canvas.
