Dragging an autoshape DURING a presentation. Can be done?

Does any one know/heard of how to implement autoshapes on the PPS, so
that during the slide show the presenter can move these shapes ( only
move, not change shape) ?

For example, a box is displayed on a slide ( during the presentation).
I would like to drag this to a new palce on the screen. Is this
possible using any feature on PPT? or even using VBA scripting?

If it's too hidden to find, please drop me a line: us "at" ppt-user "dot" de

Ute

Is there a link to a similar site that's written in English? Or can you post
the solution here? Thanks.

I am also interested in finding this information but have had some
difficulty tracking it down even after translating the page.

Uhm... Windows XP doesn't have Autoshapes.

Sorry, I don't understand the point you're making.

This is a Powerpoint newsgroup, the question was about Powerpoint, all versions
of PowerPoint have autoshapes. How does Windows XP figure into this?

The point is that this is being cross-posted to a Windows XP newsgroup for
no apparent reason. Future discussion of this should probably eliminate the
cross-posting and keep it in the PowerPoint newsgroup as it is a PowerPoint
question.

Yes, that's the webpage we (a team of German PowerPoint enthusiasts)
maintain - but I didn't want to post any link in this newsgroup, as we are
planning a relaunch of the website very soon and all URL's will change.

In case of any questions regarding that Drag&Drop Macro, please contact me
via E-Mail: ute "at" ppt-user "dot" de. I will try to answer your questions
myself or forward them to our programmer.

Best regards,
Ute

Do you know if there's an English version of the book on the site?

If you are referring to the "PowerPoint-Ideenbuch" ("Book of
PowerPoint-Ideas") - no, it's currently only available in German.

Best regards,
Ute
