drag and drop

Cannot drag a picture from My Pictures into the picture tasks on the left. The min i cross the pic into the area while dragging i get a round blk and while circle with a diagonal line throu it. Help please

Instead of dragging, select the image (at the right), then click on the
appropriate task at the left.
