downloading windowsXP security patches

Every time I try to go to Microsoft.com and download the
security patches for XP windows XP home version; it scans
my computer, states that I need 21 critical downloads
installed. I click to download, which it goes through
the whole process and then stops and will not install the
downloads.... Every time it fails...what am I doing
wrong?
 
Do a little experiment. Do just one the first time. If it installed, then
do two. I had a feeling that one of the updates is in conflict with others.

Having the same problem but I only get as far as the
agreement and at the bottom it ask me if I agree but
there is nowhere to check that I do so I don't even get
the download process. Have you solved your problem yet?
