downloading updates.

i have an issue where if i try to download an updated driver from the hp
website i click on download,then run, i get an error box come up stating this
is not a win 32 application.
any ideas how to fix this so i can download drivers.?

this is the message i get for one particular update.
c:\users\HPadministrator\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\temporary internet
files\contentIE5\V9TIIL20\SP26898(1).exe is not a valid win 32 application
