I have dial up at the office and my husband has DSL at home. Can I use his
DSL to download updates to CD so I can load them at the office? It would
save hours sometimes. We both have XP Home Edition.

Hi,

Yes, you can. Go to the update site and click on the link in the left column
for administrators.

Updates for what?

You can d/l Windows updates from the Corporate area of the microsoft web
site.

Doesn't matter how you download.

You can download from the DSL connection, and burn it onto
a CD which you can then read/upload from onto your computer
with dial up.

Make sure you both have the same CD software.

I highly recommend Nero 6 or newer. I have Nero 6.6, and it
is a wonderful package!

It also plays movies and audio.

Hope that answered your question.

Good luck!
