For security and other patches released for a given month :
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms##-***.mspx
Replace ## with the two-digit year
Replace *** with the three character month abbreviation
Providing there are releases for that month, you will see the list of
"critical" "important" patches for that month
Check on the 2nd Tuesday of each month - later in the day.

Dear All,
Is it possible to download all available windows updates
after installing service pack 2 from a location
without going to windows update website?
I have a friend that has original WinXP w/SP2 but
he is on dial-up. After formatting his PC,
setting up WinXP w/SP2 and
going to windows update website all available updates
will require hours of download with dial-up.
I'm on high speed DSL. If possible i will download
all available updates burn them to a CD and give them
to him.
So please inform me of a location where i may go
and download all available windows updates.
Thanking you in advance,
Carlos.
