Hi,
It depends on how the program was written to be installed. Earlier programs
could be installed only for the user who installed that program and it would
be visible only on that user's profile. Also the user who wants to install
the program had to have administrative priviliges to install the program.
Now programs have come with a new feature that allows you to determine for
whom the program has to be allowed. The choices are "Only for the current
user" or "for anyone who uses this computer".
So if you see the second option on the setup program then you have greater
flexibility to install the program or else u will get the program only for
the profile where the user had installed.
