downloading music without turning off firewall

I have signed up for a pay by the song music download
site. Unfortunately, my Windows firewall prevents me from
using it! Could someone please tell me what settings to
disable in my Network Connections that will allow me to
download mp3's, etc and still keep my firewall turned on
throughout the process?

Greetings --

Contact the service from which you download your music, and ask
them which specific port you need to have open during the downloads.
Then, using the instructions provided by your firewall's manufacturer,
configure your firewall to open that port, but only during the times
you're actively downloading. You'll naturally want to keep all
unnecessary ports blocked when they're not actively in use.
