HTTRACK (WinHTTrack)
Company: -- Author: Xavier Roche
(Freeware) (open source: GNU GPL)
Windows OS: Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
Other OS: Linux; Unix
Languages: English and other languages
Description: WinHTTrack is an easy-to-use offline browser utility. It allows you
to download a World Wide website from the Internet to a local directory,
building recursively all directories, getting html, images, and other files from
the server to your computer. WinHTTrack arranges the original site's relative
link-structure. Simply open a page of the 'mirrored' website in your browser,
and you can browse the site from link to link, as if you were viewing it online.
WinHTTrack can also update an existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted
downloads. WinHTTrack is fully configurable, and has an integrated help system.
NOTES: WinHTTrack is the Windows release of HTTrack.

GNU Wget is a free software package for retrieving files using HTTP,
HTTPS and FTP, the most widely-used Internet protocols. It is a
non-interactive commandline tool. Rather steep learning curve, but
highly tuneable.

Be aware that some sites will ban you forever for doing that. It's a
heavy load on the site.

Jim;

Al has a good point. Httrack (http://www.httrack.com/) the proggy
suggested to you, documents this at length. Please read up on "polite"
site pulling. There's also a forum with a number of threads related to
this very topic.
