I am so darn stressed over this. I used to be able to automatically download
my email attachments to a temporary internet file without having to save the
file to my hard drive, name it and then open it. The pop up gives me the
option to open it without saving it, however, when I do this, it always gives
me a viewing error. I have all the software for all of the different
attachments, so I know it is not that. I have been told I have to adjust a
setting in my computer somewhere, but I cannot find where!

What do I need to check, click, delete or modify?!

I use yahoo. BUT I've always used yahoo. My computer crashed last year and
so instead of fooling around with trying to get it fixed, I bought a new one.
It has something to do with the Window's Settings or maybe IE??? I don't
know. I have Windows XP. As far as the attachments--any kind of
attachments--word, publisher, docs, anything....doesn't matter--it always
makes me save first to HD. I don't want to have to do that. I used to be
able to just view then discard--they would view through temporary internet
files (I think). Then if I wanted to save them, I could. I've checked my
Firewalls, security software.

Thanks for your help
