That was for XP Plus add-on.. they want almost $100 for downloading a
program for which the key is most likely illegal, and where the 'owner' is
left with little or no proof of actual ownership..

Oh. Well, the OP should still send me all his money if he thinks he can
download XP. I would at least say "thank you" which will be more than
he'll get from the pirates. :-)

One can only speculate on why you felt the need to respond this way to

Thanks for your kind words regarding my childhood. Actually, you don't
need to speculate on why people responded the way we did because I'll
tell you: none of us could believe that anyone would seriously consider
that site to be legitimate. It seemed far more likely that you were
just a spammer pushing your warez.

If your feelings were hurt, I'm sorry. And quite seriously, no the site
is not legitimate and if you give them your money you will be sorry.
