download video

hi,

trying to download a video from a camera onto player but nothing happens.
when the device is on my computer I ask it to be played on Media player and
then - nothing. can anyone help//
 
How are you 'downloading'.... with a smart card reader or with a USB
connection?

What file format is the video in?
