I'm trying to us Windows XP at home. I have tried to
download the XP patch that says it must be added before
any other patches. It says it takes 2.5 hours but that's
just "getting" the program. It takes several more hours
to "upgrade" the system - on-line. I am now 3% (yes,
three)upgrades with 2 hours or more to go. The "re-try"
message (when I get cut off) says to go to "Windows XP
Service Package l" and then to "Problems Downloading the
Service Pack". I cannot find such a thing on any
list I look at about the XP patches or downloads.
I cannot get "hotmail" to load. Lucky I have "yahoo". I
need help in getting the critical patch loaded. Can MS
send a disk with the patch ? ? ?
