I posted a couple nights ago, about download problems
with IE6.0, Windows XP.
Instructions were to check the Regedit file for an
invalid plug-in.
When I try START-RUN-REGEDIT.EXE, I get an error
box, "Unable to find component", "This application has
failed to start because clb.dll was not found. re-
installing the application may fix this problem".
Q1. Which application would I have to re-install?
Q2. Where can I get the clb.dll? Could I copy one from
another computer, or is it specific to the PC it is on?

Parasite?
IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit is with these
tools.

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.
