Download in Vista

Why can't I get one complete download with Vista? The process stops after a
few minutes and does not proceed. There is no provision for recovery.
I have not been able to download a single program so far.

Have you had this problem from more than one site? What software are
you using for the downloads?

FWIW, I had a bad stick of RAM cause these symptoms in one box I
upgraded. My mistake for not testing the RAM I upgraded right before
the Vista install :)

Internet Options, Advanced. Under Browsing, tick "Enable Passive FTP".
