Download does not end

Any file I have tried to download it is not finalized. The progress windows
of the copy goes near of 100% and close without concludes the copy!
I am not able to identify if it was after install a program, cause I recover
(system restore) before install my last program, but the problem remains.
I need a help to solve this proble.

Try Clean you caches and temp files.

Is this all downloads or just one particular? Is this only with Internet
Explorer downloads?
If clearing cache doesn't work download MVP Ramesh's IEFix from
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm, run it.

If the above doesn't work you can try start | run | "sfc /scannow" and\or
use a download manager.

Thanks for your attention, but unfortunately clear the cache or use IEFix
(IEFix does not work with IE7) corrected the problem, which began before I
have installed IE7.
I run "sfc /purgecache" and "sfc /scannow", but the problem persist...
I don´t know if this a IE problem or Win XP... or even both...

Yes... should be it the problem??? I´ll uninstall it to test...
Eureka!!! My downloads works fine now!!! Really was the Windows Defender
beta2!!!
