Hello,

I have a user that upgraded to office 2003 beta. The time
on the program has expired. I need to remove this version
and put it back to office 2000. The outlook.pst file
cannot be opened by outlook 2000 ( it gives a version
related error). The import and export menu item on office
2003 beta is greyed out. Is there a way to convert this
back? Is the import export function disabled because it
is a beta version? If I can get a version of Office 2003
that will export to a .pst file, can I then import back
into office 2000?

Help Me Please!

Thank You!
Bill

You should obtain a trial version of Outlook 2003. Create a new PST file and
make sure it's 97-2002 compatible (it will be an obvious choice when
creating the new PST file). Then export all of theitems in the incompatible
PST to the new one. That new one can be opened by older versions of Outlook.

Hello Patricia,

Thank You for your help!

I looked on the web site and the only thing I could find
is

Mobile Information Server 2002, including Microsoft
Outlook® Mobile Access and Microsoft ActiveSync®
technology, is available to try out for 120 days.
Download or order the trial software to start your hands-
on trial today

Is this what I want? I dont want something that I will
have to install on a server. I just want Outlook 2003
trial.

Thank You again!
Bill
