Double underline in powerpoint

I have accounting clients who are resorting to manually drawing a double
underline under certain numbers in their charts in ppt. And I can't find
the "double-underline" button anywhere! Can it be done?

The good you haven't missed anything obvious. Or even anything
utterly hidden and counterintuitive.

The bad Manually. That's the only way to do it in PPT.

But you could do the charts/tables in Excel, if possible, and Paste Link
them to PPT.
Excel allows double underlines.

PowerPoint does not have the specific capability that you are looking for,

provide additional font formatting capabilities (strike-through, double
