Double emails - 2 of everything recieved

When I recieve my emails I'm getting two of everything. It makes it take
twice as long to download and is very irritating. How do I fix this?? What
causes this??

What version of Outlook do you have? What sort of accounts, and how many?
Are you getting duplicate copies of messages in a single download?

I am having the same problem. When I delete all messages only one half of
them go away until I exit the Inbox, and return to it. I am using OE 6 with
XP SP2.

This group is for support of the Outlook program that comes with Microsoft
Office, not OE. You can get support for that in the
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress newsgroup. One
thing you might try, though, is disabling any anti-virus scanning of your
incoming mail. That has been known to cause this problem.

I have had this problem and found it to be Norton Anti
virus. There is a section on their website about this
saying it is an acknoweldged problem. Hope this helps.

I changed Anti virus software which cured it.
