DOTS ON DISPLAY

On certain coloured wallpaper i get these little black
dots on screen,looks like it has'nt loaded the whole
image. whe i move the mouse pointer around the screen i
get lots of coloured lines. when i play dvds(origanals)
divx and any games the little vertical lines of black
dots . I've tried changing the refresh rates, resolutions
and checked the drivers and display adapters,nothing.

i came across one help which had a window with colour
inside then it then changed the colour abit and the dots
dissapeared, then it would change again ,each time asking
if it was shown properly.

What kind of monitor do you have? If it's one of those flat screen TFT
displays, it's quite normal to have a couple of dead pixels.
