DVDs have drivers installed... you "flash the BIOS" and you
need to do that using the procedure required by your
hardware. Sometimes there are BIOS update .exe programs
that will run from Windows, generally you can flash the BIOS
by creating a bootable floppy and having the BIOS update
file on that floppy. You boot the computer and it updates
the BIOS.
If the power fails or there is a problem during the process,
you will need expert help to fix it, maybe even a new
motherboard.
You need to be more explicit describing what you need/want
to do? I am assuming you meant BIOS rather than DVD but if
you post the make/model of computer, the DVD, perhaps you
will get a better answer.
