Hi All,

Help!

I replaced a customer's 5 year old NT computer with a new
XP Pro computer yesterday. As it transpires, he had an old
DOS program that would run under NT but refuses to run under XP
(I verified this with the vendor).

Unfortunately, he must run this particular version of the
DOS program and can not upgrade it (don't ask!). Does anyone
know of a third part DOS emulator that runs under XP? Any
other ideas?

Many thanks,

Hi Tony,

DOSBox v0.60 has worked well for me.

Ciao . . . C.Joseph

That which a man buys to cheaply . . .
He esteems to lightly

Hi All,

I wound up using Joseph's suggestion

http://dosbox.sourceforge.net

It does not print as of yet, which was a problem.
But, the customer's program allowed for a print to file.
So I created him a second shortcut to print:

notepad.exe /p report.txt

Thank you all for the help and the tips. :-P

Many thanks,
--Tony

Sorry about that. That was suppose to be a smile.
NO offense was intended. :-[ (Lets hope that
one comes out as an embarrassed face.)
