Hi all

I currently have two machines, a laptop and a desktop
which are both running Windows XP pro.
I use the Laptop at work and it is therefore a member of
my domain at work....however I would like to also use it
on my home network ( currently set as a workgroup) in
order to share files and a printer(connected to my
desktop)

Does anyone have any idea how I might go about doing this
without erasing the configuration ( domain information)
for when I plug in to my docking station at work.
Note:
Desktop is an 1.4 ghz, 512 DDR, 60GB machine connected
with a wired connection to a Linksys router (BEFW11S4)
Laptop is 2.0 ghz, 1 GB DDR 60GB machine connecting
wirelessly to same Linksys router

Thanks for your help

Hello
You can go to your Network connections and disable the connection that you
use for your domain
!!!!!!Disable do not remove!!!!!!!!!

Then click Create a New Connection go through the steps to make a new
connection, then run the network wizard on the host computer, create a
floppy run it on the laptop.

Be sure to go to the Network Connections and Disable the connection you are
not using.
