Hi all please could you help ... I am tearing my hear out
literally.

I have a small home network consisting of 4 PC's 2 of
which are windows 2000 server ( 1 being windows 2003 )
and 2 workstations 1 XP and the other windows 2000 pro.
The windows servers are both domain controllers.

I can ping all the workstations / server from any server
and vice versa. The problem is I cannot get either of the
workstations to join any of the 2 servers domains.

Please has anyone got any ideas?

Kind Regards

Peter Flint.

Hi Jon,

Yes the servers are both on different subnets, and are
acting as primary controlers.

Kind Regards

You need to supply a boatload more information to get more relevant
help. You might also be better off posting this to a networking group
and not here, since this problem is not really related to just XP.

I'll start with the simplest questions: are you a domain admin on
one/both or the Domains? Are you using an account that allows adding
computers to the domain when you try to join your clients to the
domain? Have you added the computers to the domain on your domain
controllers?

Oh, tons more comes to mind but more details must come from you.

Best to drop the subject here and move over to a networking group!
