I loaded WinXP Pro on my home machine, and right now my
network is a Workgroup.
How do I get the security tab in objects properties to
show as if I was on a Domain?
Also how can I make it so that I can have a regular sign-
on like the one that that appears as if I was on a Domain?

Thanks

I'm a little confused about your question, but I'll bite.

AFAIK, there's only one way for your computer to act like it's on a
domain, and that's for you to set up a Domain Controller then set up
your XP Pro box to be part of that Domain.

Why do you need your box to "appear" as if it's a member of a Domain?
The only sign-on difference I notice is that I don't have the option
of choosing which domain to logon to with my non-domain version of XP
Pro set up for a workgroup.

Actually, he doesn't need to set up a DC (a DC would already exist in a
current domain) - if he wants to logon to a domain, he has to join his
workstation to a domain. This is done in System>Computer Name. Of
course, there has to be a legitimate extant domain for him to join and
the user has to exist on the DC with correct permissions. The OP should
post back with exactly what he wants to do and why in order to get real
help.

XP Home does not support joining an NT Domain at all - you can log on to
specific resources (in the way Win98 could) but no more than that
