First, I can understand your frustration, but find the CapsLock key, and use it.
Please.

Now, is the problem computer actually joined to the domain? Does it have the
same DHCP / DNS settings as the other computers that have no problem? Does it
have the same operating system as the others?

Windows XP Pro computers have special needs when joining a domain (XP Home
won't). Read this article:
<http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/windows-xp-on-nt-domain.html>

Please let us know if any of these suggestions are of any help. What you learn
may help others in the future, and that's the purpose of these forums.

Have you verified that the computer in question has actually joined the
domain. I believe the Logon To: box does not display if you are
connecting to a workgroup.

OK, all of that being the case, let's try and diagnose the problem. Please
provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from the problem computer, from
two client computers with no problem, and from the server. Read this article,
and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely:
<http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp>

Or, if you like, you can read about the diagnostic procedures.

OK, both computers have IPV6 aka Teredo Tunneling. Are you actually using IPV6
on your LAN?

Supposedly IPV6 is supposed to work on the same computer with Windows Networking
running over IPV4, but that hasn't always been true. So start by removing IPV6
from the problem computer, at least to see if the problem goes away. You may
end up repairing the Winsock afterwards too.

IPV6 is not supposed to cause any problems with Windows Networking and IPV4, but
it does. In every case where IPV6 is found, on a computer with a problem,
removing IPV6 has been the solution. Google for "IPV6" and "Teredo Tunneling"
in this forum, if you don't believe me.

So what are you doing with IPV6? Do you have to do it on these computers? At
least until you see if removing it makes Windows Networking work?
