How can I change Outlook's REPLY function to allow the reply message to be
added below the original message, instead of above it? I'd like to be able to
read from top to bottom in original message to last reply message order.

Click your mouse below the text. Outlook default to top-reply with no
settings to change this. Reply other wise can interfere with a threaded
reply in Outlook 2007 and renders the Desktop alert useless.

I can't help you. I am looking for the answer to the same question. If you
have discovered how to do this please let me know.

outlook doesn't support such a feature. You'll need to move the cursor to
the end of the message.

I phoned Microsoft help in Australia today and they told me it is possible,
but would not tell me how without me paying $300 for the privelage. Thanks
for nothing Mr Microsoft.

You can't. If you scroll to the end of a HTML email and begin typing it sits
within the indent of the reply. There is no option to remove the indent
either. If you convert it to plain text once in the email screen it does not
insert the prefix you designate within the reply settings either,
