You will have no trouble downloading them from the Internet. You
would have trouble trying to *avoid* downloading the damn things.

It's not that hard... I've been going for months without having to download
macrotrash stuff. I find it makes the internet much more pleasant that
having all that flash trash on my computer.

When I come upon a site that demands that you use Macromedia Flash
to view the site ... I go to a different site. I haven't found
this to be a problem. Lots of sites on the Internet.

You can install Macromedia Flash to douse the constant nags about installing
it, then install Flashkill to toggle a "kill bit" in the registry to disable
it while avoiding the nags.

DL it here: http://www.dozleng.com/Security/blockers.html

If Flashkill is enabled you won't see any Flash ads or other obnoxious
apparitions related to it, nor will you get any nags. The only site I've
found that really needs it is TVGuide.com, so the kill bit stays active most
of the time here. Be sure to read the Readme file.
