Does XP have IconCache

I just got my new computer with WinXP, and when I open Explorer, it
seems like the icons need to rebuild. I have some folders with a lot
of entries, and this takes time. Does XP have an icon cache similar to
Win98's and if so, how do I go about changing the limits?
