Can you run Windows mail for:
1. Sending/receiving mail
2. Newsgroups

behind a proxy server?

Thank you.

Windows Mail is no different with respect to a proxy server than is any
other email client or news reader. If the proxy server is setup to handle
both sets of protocols, Windows Mail should be fine.

Thank you for your reply.

But there's no place to change settings for proxy in the application, is
there?

Windows Mail, like Outlook Express, uses the connection settings in Internet
Explorer; set your proxy server information there.
