Just did a total reinstall to my new SATA drive, first thing i
installed was SP2.

One thing i did notice with istalling sp2 on my old system, been
running for months, was that my downloads on p2p went much faster
after sp2, so was it blocking stuff like spyware ? that was muching or
blocking my p2p speeds ?

Ok thanks all.

No, there is no built-in anti-spyware capabilities endowed by the
installation of SP2. You should consider using Ad-Aware from
www.lavasoft.de and SpyBot Search & Destroy from
www.safer-networking.org/.

But then again, if you're doing P2P, why are you concerned about
spyware? That's rather like shutting the barn door after the horses
have escaped.
